What WyreDeck stores, what stays local, and how to protect an anonymous account.
The account is anonymous, not consequence-free
An account requires no email, name, phone number, or password. The 16-digit number is still a powerful bearer credential. Keep it in a password manager and never include it in support messages.
The optional access form is separate from the account. Its live request expires after 30 days by default. An outage can delay deletion until the service resumes. A database backup that captured the request can retain its encrypted copy until that backup reaches the end of its separate 14-day lifecycle. The form stores only the encrypted email, a fixed device category, and a random request identifier. It cannot accept an account number or free-text message, and the request is never linked to account identity.
What the account service stores
The service stores a one-way account fingerprint, tier and expiry, and scoped records for paired devices. A device record uses a short, non-blank model label and a supported public identity key; the label is capped at 128 UTF-8 bytes. IP addresses are used transiently for abuse limits and are not kept as an account history.
What stays outside the account service
Provider credentials, provider catalogs, viewing history, favorites, and resume state remain on your TV or an optional LAN Backbone. WyreDeck’s account service does not receive that information.

Payment privacy
Payments are not available. The payment provider and how payment data is handled will be added to the privacy policy before checkout opens.
